Brick Breaker Levels

There are 34 levels to the free Blackberry version of Brick Breaker. Once you clear all 34 levels, the game reverts back to the first level. There are two levels that are particularly hard, but if you can get lucky enough to get through them without losing too many lives, you can get through the rest of them much easier.

The first two times through the 34 levels are the hardest. If you can make it through the first two times, the game becomes easier. Players have scored well over 1 million points on Brick Breaker games on their Blackberry phones. That wouldn’t be true if the game didn’t get easier. So, make your long term goal to get past those first 68 rounds.

Here are some general strategy tips for beating the Brick Breaker game on your Blackberry.

Basic Strategy for Beating Blackberry Brick Breaker Game Levels

One tip for all Brick Breaker game players is to make Life capsules a priority over the ball. For example, if you have a ball and a Life capsule coming down at close to the same time, make sure to get the Life capsule, then make your risky move to get the ball…don’t do it the other way around. If you get the life, you’ll get 50 points and at the very least you will replace the ball you lost…gaining you 50 points. However, if you can get both, you get the 50 points plus the extra life. However, if you go for the ball first, then make your risky move to get the Life, you may miss the Life entirely, losing 50 points and the possibility to get the Life and the ball. So, when the ball and Life are close, go after the Life first (and make sure you get it). You lose nothing this way, but you’re guaranteed an extra 50 points.

Keep in mind, this only works if you can get the Life before the ball passes below.

Players With Small Goals

If your goal is simply to beat your high score of 7000, you’ll want to play a bit differently that someone trying to get a high score of 1 million. For example, it’s more important to get as many capsules (power-ups) if you’re trying to best 7000 than it is if you’re trying to beat 1 million. For 7000, each capsule is worth 50 points, and the gun is worth up to 200. So, you can easily add 50-300 points per level just by going after all the capsules you can.

Tips for Getting More Points on Brick Breaker Games for Blackberry:

1/ Get more capsules.

2/ Use the gun as often as possible. You get 50 points just for grabbing it, but then you have 3 bullets worth 50 points for each brick you hit, for up to 200 points total.

3/ Don’t get carried away with using the laser. The laser is great for clearing levels faster, but can get you in trouble. Most BrickBreaker players tend to accidentally move the paddle when they’re using the laser. This can cause you to miss the ball. Also, when you take focus off the ball and put it on the laser, this can also cause you to miss. You don’t gain points by hitting bricks with lasers anyway, so take the extra time to beat the level by keeping your focus on the ball and using laser less often.

4/ If you use the Multi capsule when you only have a few bricks left, let 3 of the balls go. Focus on one ball and make sure to get it so you don’t lose a life, but let the other ones go in case another capsule will come from one of the few remaining bricks. If you’re using 4 balls you’ll often clear all the bricks before you can grab any capsules coming from them. It especially sucks when you have 3-4 balls out there, a Life capsule comes down and your other balls clear the rest of the bricks before you can grab the Life capsule.

Players With Big Goals

If you’re trying to get through the first two rounds, then it’s more important to not make risky moves going after 50 points. Losing a life isn’t worth 50 points. Your goal is to get as many lives as possible, to help you get through those first 68 levels. If you can do that, the game becomes easier and making the 1 million points mark is more about time than difficulty.

Tips for Clearing More Levels on BrickBreaker for Blackberry

1/ The first, most obvious answer is to accumulate as many lives as possible.

2/ Worry less about capsules (except Life), and more about the ball. Don’t risk lives to get capsules as the 50 points per capsule will mean much less in the long run than clearing the first 68 levels will.

3/ Adjust the speed of your paddle to suit your style and BlackBerry phone. The scrolling ball on some Blackberry phones work better and smoother than others. In the options window you can adjust the speed of the paddle to slow, medium or fast. If you can learn to control the paddle on fast you can make quicker moves when you need to. Most average players prefer medium, but you aren’t looking to be average are you? It takes some practice, but once you get good at it, you have an advantage.

4/ If the scroll ball on your Blackberry game moves choppy, there are two things you can try.

First, use the medium speed paddle and try to position your paddle well before the ball comes down. Anticipate the ball angles as early as possible so you don’t have one of those fun glitches where you move right and the paddle moves left at the very last second. That can be very irritating. Position the paddle early.

Second, go to the options window of the game. See if your paddle accelerator is on. If it is, turn it off. For most Brick Breaker game players, this will make a big difference on how smooth the paddle moves left and right, making it much more predictable.

5/ Use the Multi capsule to clear out bricks as quickly as possible. The fewer moves you have to make with the paddle the less chance of losing a life. Also, the Multi capsule is great for clearing out bricks in places that are hard to get to. Your goal is to just get through the first two round of 34 levels. Focus more on getting through each level than your score. Your high scores will come later when the game gets easier.

I hope some of these strategy tips for Brick Breaker games on Blackberry phones helps you achieve destroy your goals! Good luck.
